Maybe so, but my passengers love the rear vents

My '14 has rear vents too... only thing is they pump out HEAT! (A/C seat discharge)

Non of my passengers ever complained, but "There's a thread about it".

"Oh my gosh! What a horrible design flaw!"

"SOOOOOOOO Horrible!

"The sky is falling!"

What a bunch of BS.

Did you ever own one? As awful as you say there are, nothing is a bigger a pile of crap as a GMT800...

I liked my three 800's. One 2000 GMC Sierra half ton followed by Dmax duallys from 2004.5 & 2007. No real issues with any of them. Have a 900 now that I like, the interior is OK, but pretty bland. Steering wheel & center stack hvac radio unit out of Monte Carlos & full size vans?

The rear ac vent issue is just nit picking for most. If we are going down that road of what things used to be, my 1992 4.3 V6 5speed manual Silverado had a under hood light.

My 1990 had 2 underhood lights.

I thought about adding one, but I have a headlamp. The other options I have are enough to balance it out for me; dual zone ice cold auto AC, dimming mirrors, heated power fold mirrors, heated back glass, decent stereo, more than 3 seats, over 150hp...

I haven't found a seat that fits me as well as those in my 2006, my grandpa had a pickup with the same seats and he said they were his favorite, ever. Personal preference with that and the general layout of controls.

It's nice to have options though. I know some people can do without them, and so can I but I'm a lot happier with them. FWIW the Ford CC's with the flip up console/jumpseat don't have rear AC either. At least not in a SD. And it's freaking miserable on a 20 hour drive haha.
