And then after I have the front two jacks in place, I put the jack under the pumpkin and jack the rear end high enough to slip both rears in place... but you probably already do it that way.

Yeah, there is just no solid spot up front like you said.

Where do you see when they make these kind of changes? And does this apply to the 2015's also?

Yes, it does pertain to 2014 and 2015 models. I first saw it on this forum somewhere and then saw backup on SandyBlogs at the link below. Page down and you'll see a table that explains it. I got my Mobile1 at Walmart...one 5 quart jug plus three, 1 quart bottles filled it right up!

Thanks! Looks like I'll be draining half a quart out! Is there anywhere particular you can look for announcements like that?

It's cheaper to get 2 5 qt bottles than the 3 single qt. bottles

Now that my free changes are over, I'll be using Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum. Been a PZ guy for years, but M1 seems to be a good choice as well. Filter? I'll likely stick with NAPA Gold with ACDelco as a backup.

I use Mobil 1 EP with a Mobil 1 EP filter

Yes, if I was doing it myself...but easier to make sure the oil change shop that I used didn't overfill it. [emoji2]

I think I got a bulletin from GM when they changed it, but not sure. A few members on here are GM Techs and posted it as well.

Do you have to sign up to receive those or something? Sorry, this is the first new truck I've owned!

I have a Silverado, so this is where I would sign up. Similar one for GMC owners...

Also, notice there are manuals and videos there. You can download a soft copy of the Owners Manual, etc. which are easier to search through than the hard copy.

Thanks you! That is very helpful. I also have a Silverado, and it happens to be the same color as yours! Nice choice haha
