New wheels

After 4 years of driving an Ecoboost I decided to go back to a Chevy.

The Ecobooost was a great truck and gave me 70k miles of trouble free driving.

If Ford had done anything to powertrain I'd probably be driving another.

But I'm not into buying a 4 year older truck with exact same powertrain.

 

Double cab 6.2L and 8 speeds are a very rare thing up here and I was totally shocked to see one on a local lot.

Pretty much exactly what I wanted too....

Only a week old so I haven't got a great feel for her yet....

Very nice! Congrats! I came from an f-150 with ecoboost I drove for 3.5 years without any trouble. I also have the 6.2 with 8 speed in my Sierra. Only had mine for a little over a month but absolutely no regrets.

Side note, everyone needs to stop posting pics of their white trucks! I keep telling myself that the next truck will NOT be white.....but these look sooooo good!

I didn't really want the white....but availability of the 6.2L is very low.

Only other one within 6hrs was brown....no thanks.
