Hacking the GM OnStar remote app

Ok. I will upgrade to an Amiga. Reality is that the Iphone 6 and even the 5s is just too big for my short fat stubby fingers to grasp in one hand. I could probably find a 4s cheap or even free.

Didn't read the article. What I'm curious about is can it be hacked without my having a subscription? That way i can hack my stuff and not have to pay for onstar and still be able to lock/unlock and remote start from my phone.

I'm talikng about using the remote start feature of the app from a pc.

I am sure you can just use the emulator from the development kit and use the app that way. Seems a bit excessive to do something though...

CodeB4UZ71 and morrislee have got the right ideas haha. What I'd like to know though is has anyone disabled onstar completely? I have not looked yet but is it just a fuse? I've not had onstar service since the trial and I get an advertisement call after turning on my truck about once a month. Bugs the crap out of me they do this outside the free trial period.
