FishinJ Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Hey Guys, Another new member here and have been reading the forums for a while and reading up on all the new trucks. Got my new Denali about 1.5 months ago and have put about 2200 miles on it so far. Been driving a couple of Tahoes for the past 15 years and my last one I handed down to my boys. I put 199,900 miles on it, still runs great and it finally got a new set of brakes. Now that the boys are in high school, driving and I’m not coaching anymore I have no need for a 3rd row of seats. Love the new truck and pulling the boat compared to the Tahoe is night and day. The power of the 6.2 is great and pulls the boat with little effort. Passing is also soooooo much better. I’ve read about the vibration issue and a couple times I thought I may have had it a little and then the road changed and it’s smooth as silk. First day I got the truck went directly to the tint shop and had them tint the front windows. Also put on a Retrax MX bed cover, bed rug and tailgate mat (knee savers). Thinking about a level kit but would probably need bags to keep it from the squatting look when I load the bed with gear and the boats hooked up. Almost got the 2500 with the Dmax but I put customers in the truck and it’s just too high for some of them and a much stiffer ride. After reading about the catch cans, this will probably be a near future mod. Look forward to reading, learning and spending more $$$.
