Front pass upper shock mount

I have a 99 z71 long bed ref cab I need you guy opinion on what I should do about pass fronu shock mount broke

As in the shock rod broke through the washer and now moves around?

Does that have the shock top that has one stem coming up through a chassis bracket? If so, I guess you could find somebody to weld a new bracket on there. The geometry wouldn't have to be perfect I would think as that's torsion bar suspension.

If it's the actual bracket on the frame, you'll need to have a new one welded/bolted on there. For what it's worth, my dad had to do that exact same thing on his Ford Ranger. The mechanic knew exactly what it was over the phone because he's done so many of them. It only cost $250 to fix, and had the truck back the same day.
