I got the sunroof but honestly, didnt need it or use it often. The 6.2 if it was within the budget id have picked it up but the truck was already stickering just shy of 53k

In the market myself for a Denali. Hope to get into one by late Sept/early Oct. before all the 2016's come in. Im think Im going 6.2.

I only get a new truck every 10-12 years so I went all out. Like others have said, the Denali comes with almost every option. Sunroof is added by most ordering dealers is it will likely have that. It will also likely have trailer brake control.

When I was looking at mine I found the big discriminators to be engine size, wheels, and bed. I concur that you should go for 6.2. I love mine and I've only had it a month. Averaged 22mpg this weekend on a trip. Compared to the 12mpg I got with my previous Ram. I have the stock Denali wheels and think they look great. There are others I like too, but I wouldn't have paid more for them. As far as bed size, I had to have a standard bed. Best of luck to you!

In my opinion you will want to customize it yourself. get the std. stuff and go with aftermarket wheels, tires etc.

Tow mirrors. So much smaller blind spots.

Tow mirrors are not available on a 1500 denali (they are available on the 2500/3500).

On a 1500, they are only available with the Max Tow (NHT) option, and NHT is not available on Denali. They are an expensive retro fit if done through the dealer parts and service depts. (nearly $2000, vs the $350 when added as a factory option on a 25/3500))

Avoid the black ones with bucket seats, I heard they have issues.

Just curious... I was looking at upgrading to the denali that a dealer has here. but its black... do you know what kind of issues?

Since I'll be shopping what's on the lot and not ordering, I guess the big ticket items are my main concern. There are a couple of big rim/ finish options, a sunroof and the engine/ transmission -those are probably the majors. So I have the engine tranny response from Ryan -thanks. But if getting things like the upgraded rims is not worth it or anyone has had problems with any of them, that would be good to know. And I really am not too sure that I'd want a sunroof, but if the one on the lot has it, would it be a rattle/ leak problem and avoid and keep looking -that kind of stuff.

BTW, your truck looks great -I would love to go white, but the Denali doesn't offer the bright white and I don't like the other one.

Yup 50k+ and u can't get a color that u want even simple basic white, go figure
