Looking to see if these is a way to change how some things function like when you unlock the truck all the lights come on. I dont want the headlights shining in my house at 5AM.

Yea. Through the settings section on the MyLink you can go under vehicle and then lighting, and also door lock/unlock. You can turn the horn and light flash on and off for lock/unlock, change how long you want the locator lights on, you can turn them off as well.
