Please post a write-up about this...especially where to drill the hole for the light. Thanks!

Also, I've read that they fade if they are on for a long period of time...so it would probably be best to splice them with the dome light wire(gray wire).

Door panel removal

First remove cover behind door handle the remove screw I think these are all 7mm but I can't remember off the top of my head.

Inside door handle remove cover and there are 2 screws inside there.

These guys.

Next remove the cover under the power window switch (silver one) be very carful when you take this off I broke a tab learning how to remove it use a soft pry bar and start at the bottom corner.

There is a bolt back in there (Tip for reinstall later : grab some paper and put around the head of screw it should stay on the socket easier when your reinstalling) Also note the clips that look like dracula teeth these need to be put back on your silver cover for reinstallation.

There are 2 last screws at bottom of door panel after you remove this you will need to unsnap the side mirror cover piece at the top of door to get the panel off. I would try and leave weather strip around window alone. It took some time to get back in right. now just pry the door off if it doesn't come off easily make sure everything is un screwed. Also I forgot to take a photo of the final steps of the inside of the door panel removal which includes the wiring harness which has a large lever and the door handle cable but these are pretty self explanatory.

Now the fun stuff I drilled in this area on the underside of the door panel look at the next few pictures and you should be able to match it with your door panel.

Here is a view after I drilled the hole take your time and do many test fits I had to take a xacto knife and do some fine trimming. you want it tight. I wasn't able to use the cam screws that were on the lights (due to the thickness of the door panel) so I made sure they were tight meaning my thumbs hurt after I was done pressing them in. (Tip do not completely install them in the panel till after you test and figure out if the projector is right side up sure would suck for them to be upside down after you get everything together) Also you will not be drilling into the interior door pocket so do not worry about that but go slow the hole saw they provide should be enough for the job.

Bottom of door panel after they were mounted but not completely set or tested yet

Wiring very straight forward red to red black to black t taps and quick connects in case they ever burn out or fade easily switched out. These will light up at night or use dome light to test.

These clips at the top of the door panel need to be reinstalled back on the truck door skin before installing panel remove and the next photo shows where they go. I posted a youtube video that shows this on the first page of this thread if you have any questions on door panel removal check it out.

Hooked them right into the cargo light bed light wiring (GM Kit # 23145347) 30 minute job drilling the bumper was no joke used a step drill bit for that one.

I would freaking love to have the option of mirroring my iphone to the screen, just not sure if it's worth the 600 price tag to me

I will let you guys know what I think after I install it probably a week or two.
