Debadging My Truck???

Hello, I drive a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 5.3L 2WD. I love my truck and the color, kind of a dark grey metallic. Probably the best color, next to the gold/beige color in my opinion. Anyways, I have been debating with myself and a couple of friends on the subject of debadging my truck. I am thinking of debadging everything from the chrome trim to the fuel cover to the tailgate? Or should I keep the fuel door cover? I personally don't think the chrome trim compliments the wheels. I gotta admit, I have seen debadged trucks and I really like them. Gives a nice and clean look to 'em. Don't worry about the process of debadging, I have that covered. Would like other GM enthusiasts opinions amd views. The chrome bodysides are nice. Me, I'd leave them on. I'd ditch the fuel door for sure as those always look out of place no matter what.

It's your truck so it's your choice, but personally, I'd ditch the chrome.

I am not a fan of the fake chrome used on the GM trucks so I would get rid of it for sure. Even if you decide to keep the door moldings, get rid of that cheap, goofy looking fuel door cover and get a body colored one. Those chrome looking fuel doors are the worst things ever, easiest way to ruin the appearance of the truck.

I kind of like having door moldings, but body colored ones. Mine have actually saved my doors several times. I would ditch those chrome looking ones and get painted ones, you won't even realize they are there when they're painted, they blend right in.
