Custom Fit Seat Covers

check out www.decorauto.com they have REAL cordura fabric the military grade one. They also have Neoprene as well, and a bunch of other materials

so here's my personal opinion with some of the names mentioned here:

coverking, is not made in the U.S.A, they are actually made in mexico or china and not to mention there customer service isn't good.

caltrend's customer service is even worse when you complain about the fit of the seat cover. my inlaws have been waiting 3 months for a refund.

carhartt seat covers always seem to look like they're just really baggy. Not what I would want for my seatcovers.

wet okole is way too pricey, and i'm not liking the way that there's sections in the middle? i don't know how to explain it....too much stitching it looks like.

i have seen decorauto.com seat covers in my neighbor's car last month while my neighbor was installing them, and they're very nice. my neighbor said that she emailed them before buying the seat covers and got a discount code. she also got her seat covers sent out in 2 days, received them in 6.

i called in and got $20.00 off coupon for my seat covers for my daughter's car. i'll update you with the fit from it when i get it. if you call or email in, ask for David. He's the one I talked to.

Wow, that bump really helped get a lot of replies! Thanks all for your recommendations! So for the list of companies to check out, I got the following:

- Decor Auto (www.decorauto.com)

- Coverking

- Wetokele

- Carhartt

I'll be contacting their customer support very soon. I have compiled quite of list of questions before I decide on who to buy from :ninja:

Now some local shop around here wrapped my seats with plastic its very tight around the seats and i just swipe everything off
Maybe you can check for something like this around your place ;)

I ordered FIA Charcoal seat covers for my 2015 Silverado off of Amazon. Showed my truck to some friends of mine, one of them had just bought his Silverado a few week prior, and all thought the FIA seat covers were original fabric from the factory. They're a little pricy but well worth the extra $$$ for a quality product, I can tell they're going to last as long as I own the truck.

I'll post pics when I get the chance....

Just a quick update, so I contacted all the companies

Just a quick update. I contacted all the companies on the list, and by far, like not even remotely close, Decor Auto was the most responsive. They responded to all my emails in less than 30 minutes, and I was able to get all my questions answered. Coverking and wetokele are the worst, and I still didn't even get a reply to my email. I ended up calling each company and requesting samples. Once I get the samples, I should have a better idea of what I want. I am currently trying to decide between neoprene and real cordura. Although based on the support alone, I am most likely going to go with www.decorauto.com

I had excellent customer service from CoverCraft when I contacted them several times via e-mail or phone with questions about their seat covers. No regrets with the purchase of their product.

I just bought a new 2015 Silverado. I also have a big dog that's always in the back and I work construction so I wanted seat covers.

I just purchased Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Blades camo seat covers from shearcomfort.com.

Many different styles and patterns to choose from. Great warranty.

Their customer service is amazing as well. Answered all my questions and more.

Covers should be here in a couple weeks, will post pictures for sure.

Good luck.

Any pictures or updates as to what you ended up with?

Hi guys, sorry for the delay.

Had the seat covers on for about 2 months now, and I love them.

Fit and finish is great. They fit about as close to perfect as you can expect. My only issue is with the cut out around the console in the back seat. Wish it had some fabric to tuck in.

Material is awesome. Tested them for waterproof before installing, they held water for over an hour and did not leak one drop. They feel very durable. The pattern is super sharp. I get comments everywhere I go.

As for price, they are expensive. But I believe you get what you pay for. They are definitely not made by someone else and resold. Custom made to order by shear comfort 100%. Very happy with the customer service when ordering, processing and shipping as well.

Will post some pictures now if I can figure this out

as far as them not reselling products, you don't have to believe me.

this was just from a quick google search with "shear comfort" "caltrend"

however, almost a year ago when we tried to return our seat covers to their "santa ana" address it was from. when we tried to google map the address it came back as caltrend so we called too and they answer the phones saying "Caltrend". if they don't sell caltrend products why are they sending from caltrend's office? we got our money back, minus the restocking fee even though the seams were ripping before we could even install them on my inlaw's honda fit.

sorry, you just paid like a 80% markup and fell for their lies just like i did, brad.

if you look at the different seats that they have on their website and drag them to google images it pops up with Caltrend and those camo seats, they come back as North West Seat Covers.

all I'm trying to do is save you some money. the stupid crazy prices listed on shear comfort's website is highway robbery. plus, no matter when you buy from them, the prices are still the same. their "holiday sale" is just a different banner. same crazy high prices. they don't seem like a trust worthy company imo.

Wet okole is a great company but does take a while to get back to you on email. Phone seemed to be the easiest way to get ahold of them. If local in Costa Mesa or LA they install for free too. I'm in San Diego and took a drive to have them install mine.
