Which trucks are considered easiest to work on? The older ones because the they dont have all the computerized crap or newer ones because they do and you can use the scanner tool snd itll tell you whats wrong with it? Just curious

It's the old trucks for me, timing guns FTW lol!

I lift the hood of the new trucks and it's just electronic spaghetti under there. *Sigh*....I'm getting old

The easiest trucks to work on are the ones you don't have to work on...

However, by comparison my '76 Chevy truck is a heck of lot easier to work on compared to my 2000. The older Chevy is just about manual everything so it has very little electrical. The mechanicals are wide open to get to and replace so little contorting to fix a brake pedal switch or fan relay under the dash. Finally parts are just plain cheap and plentiful whether they are new or junk yard used.
