Air intake kit

Seems to be some interest in this product. It is an air intake kit made by Megan Racing. I found it on ebay, but lost the auction on the kit. I went to Megans homepage and emailed about getting one at the ebay price. I got it for about $65. Regular price is $99 I think. I have the exacte same intake kit you do. I too go it off E-bay for $65 shipped from Red Dog Motosports. It works great espacially compaired to it's twin the K&N air intake kit (costed $250 +). I'm not going to recharge/clean this one however. I'm going to replace it with a K&N cone filter. The wife started to laugh at the blue cone filter calling it a "lamp shade". I think it's a great buy.

So, has it added a mean growl to the engine note? Any other comments, good or bad? You sure can't beat the price!

Yes is does have that mean growl but only when I really step on the gas. I can tell she breathes alot easier now. It's the best/least expensive mode I've done to my truck!

I got it on Ebay. $39.99 was the starting price and I was the only bidder. I got mine from "built4race" and think it is a quality product. Right now, I just searched and found a few for $45..and one for $39 that ended in "buy it now," from "x3racing" (looks like he has a lot of negative feedback.)

I just kept looking...Good luck...
