Purchased 2016 Sierra 1500

Found this post at another site...sounds familiar..

We bought a 2015 Suburban LT in August. When we test drove the vehicle had factory 20's and the ride seemed fine but never really got it up to highway speeds. Before we left the lot we had the dealer put on Chevy Factory 22's b/c we liked the look. When we finally took it on the highway we had a horrible (whole car shaking) vibration. Had tires balanced, problem still there. Had new tires put on, vibration still there. Had tires and rims road forced balanced, vibration still there. Adjusted tire pressure, vibration still there. It seems to be coming from the rear since we feel it in the bottom of the seats. We do not feel it in the swearing wheel. We are at a loss and so is the dealer as to what it is or how to fix it. Very pissed since we spent a lot of money for the car and usually spend 10 hours plus in the car for road trips home to see family. This is not our 1st suburban and our other one drove like a dream. Starting to think we got a lemon! Wondering if anyone else with a 2015 has experienced this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

WASNT THE 22S, THE DEALER PUT 20S BACK ON. SO FAR THEY HAVE DONE THE SAME THINGS TO THEIR SUBURBAN AS OUR TRUCKS, NO FIX

Wrong thread David. Post in the vibe thread. This is a 2016 thread. good luck. The dealer u r dealing with has a good rep as to service department.

Funny you should say this. The service manage and advisor both told me the suburban share the same frame as my 1500. Don't know why they wouldn't. I m driving a 2016 Suburban loaner and it has the same shake/vibration. Taking it on a 300 mile round trip tomorrow should be able to feel more of the ride tomorrow.

He's wrong.

Have a look at the drawings.

Hey bud I feel for you man. I really do cause I had a ton of issues on my 14 SLT before they bought it back. No vibration issues , ironically.

It sux , worst feeling when u buy something new and aren't satisfied.

But kinda of sux to derail this mans thread. I'd post in the vibration issues or even make a new post. Dons piss on his Cheerios :)

Congrats. Sorry for the circumstances.

I too anxiously await pics. Not too excited about the 2016's, but they are growing on me!

Truck looks awesome man congrats!!! Marty's in Kingston has some on the lot now and I'll be honest. The new front end is gorgeous. I hated it in pictures - I thought it looked too round. This is not the case, in person this new front end is sexy.

Anyone know if these headlight assemblies will be plug n play on 14/15's?
