I like the looks of it better. I've sat in both of them, and prefer the interior of the Colorado too.

Cool. Was just curious. I do like them too...I know it may be a smallish beef but I don't like the fact that the rear slider is manual and not power...I really don't get why having a power one isn't an option.

 

These trucks are a huge improvement over the previous generation too and not longer the small trucks that they were. I saw a crew Z71 with the 6' box recently and it was definitely a nice looking truck.

Yea you would think that for the price that it'd have a power rear window. I test drove a Silverado and it just didn't feel comfortable to me. The stereo felt like it was too far forward for one thing, and I didn't find the seats as comfortable as the Colorado.

I'll have to compare the seats between the two next time I'm at the dealership. In all honesty the Colorado doesn't feel any smaller than an early 90s full size.

Am I the only one who is upset that GM did a redesign after only 2 years? I had hoped my 2014 model would stay current for at least 5 -7 years, now my truck will look old before its time. But I do like the look of the 16's

Look how long the C/K truck went before a sheet metal change in '81. Personally I'd like to see grille & tailight changes every couple of years. Gives buyers a reason to buy a newer vehicle.

 

W/ CAD/CAM in used nowadays, styling changes can be made cheaper & quicker than back in the 70s & early 80s. Metal stamping dies were a lot more labour intensive before CNC machine tools came along. (Speaking as a retired tool & die maker).
