Just joined to get some support with research and help with anything that I cannot find myself. I just purchased a used 2011 Chevy silverado extended cab low mileage. So far a really like it and have had a pre-purchase inspection at the dealership where I live. I'm Hopeful that this group will be able to help with some questions that I have.

Well the main thing that has me puzzled is the truck keeps getting wet passenger side floorboard. I've replaced windshield and 3rd brake light at the suggestion of the dealership. After these were replaced they said they water tested and it was fixed. It rained the other day just a constant slow rain and low and behold I pull up the mat to check and there is wet carpet. Got any ideas or know if any threads out there to show the dealership. They are a Chevy dealer. I'm at a loss.

just an ideal - pull up the mats and run it thru a car wash with a friend ,you might see where it coming in - door / window seals , firewall seals , floor plugs under mats . good luck

Thanks I'm going to work on trying to find it hopefully this weekend. If anybody comes across anything specifically that has been found to be a cause let me know. Thanks everyone

I'd double check the seals around your doors to make sure they weren't pinched or separated from the door.
