6k=blue?

 

8K is when they start to blue

 

6K is more pure white.

 

If you google "HID color temperatures" it will show you all the different temperatures you can get

i had 6k at first and then went to 5k. 6k while they say is more white with a hint of blue is kinda bs. maybe if you get the higher wattage but in 6k in 35w it is definitely blue. while driving down the road the light it puts out made the road look blue and i did not like that. 5k is much better and shined light a lot better and is white with a small hint of blue.

Check out those retro fit sites the other guys posted. They can retro fit your stock lights so you have the stock look with aftermarket internals.

 

I just put 6k HIDs in my truck and 6k is definitely the way to go

I have the Xenon Depot kit with relays (would not work without relays even on regular low beams). Their relay harness corrected that issue. I upgraded to their Phillips 4300k H11 bulbs as well. This is BY FAR the nicest kit I have used. Everything is put together well and the bulbs put out OEM quality light. I have had 5000k and 6000k before and will not go back. These 4300k Phillips bulbs are on point!
