Bought a wrecked 1500 2015 Silverado 5.3, with a damaged hood and busted condensor. There is no sticker on the underside of the hood listing the freon amount or Oil to recharge the system. Anyone know?

Thanks so much for the quick and informative reply. I am going to put a vacuum pump on it for a couple hours. My assumption is that will evacuate the entire system and I will need to add 6.09 ounces of oil and only 1.4lbs of 134a. Thx again I am not an AC guy so I am "winging" this.

hooking up a vacuum pump will only draw the air out not the oil, if you only replaced the condenser then add 2 oz and evacuate the system for half an hour to make sure no air or moist is left and recharge

Thx again. Does anyone know what kind of PAG oil? Seems like there is more than one viscosity
