What the heck is going on with my DS mirror?!

Hey guys,

 

I've been having a problem with my DS mirror ever since I brought my truck back from the dealer shop last week. Here's the story:

 

I brought my 2015 Sierra Denali in to my dealer for an oil change, and to have new tires put on. While it was there they performed the 4x4 update. Now whenever I get into my truck I have to re-position my DS mirror to it's driving position. Everything works fine until I lock the truck, then just my driver's side mirror tilts all the way down (PS functions properly). I have re-set and saved my #1 memory, #2 memory, and my easy exit memory. I have tried turning easy exit, reverse tilt, and auto memory recall off, and back on again. I also still use the same FOB I always have. The tilt down option works fine, it tilts down when in reverse, and back up when I take it out of reverse. But no matter what I do, when I lock the truck it just tilts the mirror all the way down.

 

I've searched all over the internet for the last few days, but I can't seem to find anyone that's had a similar problem. Obviously I could take it back to the dealer, and have them look at it. But I would rather see if it's something I can do on my own.

 

I highly doubt that the 4x4 update would have anything to do with this problem, but as far as I know the dealer never touched any other computer.

 

I would love to hear if any of you might have anything else I should try before I give up and schedule an appointment at my dealer.

Still with them connecting the computer up for the update they might have messed something up in the programming. I would take it back and ask them to check it out. They just might have to reflash everything.

Sure sounds like the memory location has been changed. Are you 100% sure you correctly saved the new location?

(one beep after pressing set, followed by 2 beeps when pressing '1', or '2', or)

I noticed this before and reset both my presets and seemed gone. Noticed it yesterday and reset them again. Ill check again later.

After resetting the memory for about the 80th time, everything seems to be functioning properly. I turned the easy exit and reverse tilt mirrors off for a day. The next day I turned them back on, adjusted everything, and saved the settings. It's been a few weeks, and still no problems for either fob or memory locations.

I made a thread on this some time last year, same problem no solution. Driver side only did it, you could hear it keep trying to tilt up even after it reached its max tilt when locking the truck and folding. Unlock and get in, it would be looking at the sky or moving on me while driving. It all of a sudden just quit doing it, literally. Haven't had the problem since man. I didn't do anything but try and reset the memory position with no luck. It did this maybe 2 days max and just went back to normal. There was one other guy that had the problem and his magically fixed itself too. I tried both keys and it did it on both sets and then poof, back to normal.
