Sierra with Silverado tail lamps

Just seen 2 sierras with Silverado taillights and I want to say I really like it seems brighter and has more of an led look(possibly the reflector is to blame). However I notice it on a 3500 and 1500 and wanted to see if others out there have done it without issues. Keep in mind my when I spotted these trucks both were at night and were driven alongside with other GMC Sierra with factory taillights and I noticed a difference. Please share if u have done this swap on the fence on swapping my to Silverado taillights.

Not possible, the shapes are different.

They are not interchangeable since they are different shape.

Really I could of sworn I saw the gmc badges on the tailgate which caught me by suprise but guess it's impossible thanks for the confirmation. Really like the Silverado tails but oh well.

Could have been aftermarket LED tail lights.

Single rear wheel tail lamps are different shapes. So 1500-3500 single rear wheel, Chevy has their own lamp design, and GMC has their own lamp design. On dual rear wheel 3500hd, Chevy and GMC have the same exact dually box, and they both use the Chevy tail lamp.

 

So...single rear wheel are not interchangeable. Dual rear, they use the Chevy lamp.

Ah that explains I know the red dually had the Chevy tail lamp design guess the 1500 I saw was my eyes convincing of what I saw earlier but thanks for the info.
