Question for you Magnaflow Guys

I am getting ready to purchase a Magnaflow Muffler and tips for my truck. I was curious as to those of you running the Magnaflow brand, where did you purchase your muffler at (preferably looking for online websites)??? I have found a website called bigexhaust.com, I didn't know if anyone had heard of this site, or had used this site in the past.

Any input is appreciated, Thanks

P.S. I am sure that most people are thinking, "why don't I just go to a local shop and do my business?", and the reason is $$$ you can't beat online prices, and most local shops won't price match off of the net.

Mine was done by a local shop in Kansas, I have the 8.1 and it was real easy since the 8.1 has duals all the way back to the muffler. Magnaflow has dual in and dual out that fit like it was made for it. Super quiet at idle and cruising, loud on the gas. Just had to add a tail pipe.

well there in lies the problem with going off the web....

How do you get it installed? I wont speak for everyone on the forum but I'm sure not everyone is comfortable welding on there new muffler themselves. So they have a shop do it. Most of the shops around here are a$$;s and charge extra to install stuff you already bought. I would go to A dependable muffler shop and have them do it, that way you also get a waranty!! To easy for the place on the web to not waranty your product cause they can always claim you installed it wrong

Thanks for the info guys. In reply to a shop being an $$s, well, I have a shop that is more than willing to install the system for $50. I will take everything to him, the pipe, the muffler, the tips, and he will bend, install, and weld it all together. This is a very dependable shop, so I am really excited about that, but I can vouch for some of the other shops in the area being a real $$s when I told them that I would like to bring them the stuff. Keep the info coming.

I guess I just got lucky. We have one real good shop in town that is fair with prices and does great work. I got my MagnaFlow from him but I bought my own tips and he had no problem with that.

Thanks guys for the info, I ordered my exhaust and my tips today from Bigexhaust.com, a very nice site, with good prices on stuff. I should have everything by the end of this week, and then I can get it put on my truck!!! I can't wait to see and hear the new exhaust.
