Quick stupid question, what's my trucks bed length?

Why do so many people say it is 5ft. 8in.? Some places show 5.8’ which is 69.X inches vs the 68 inches. Why is so many people saying the incorrect size?

From the chevy "press room" it's 5'-8": Regular cab models are offered with a 6’6” box or an 8’ box. Double cab models are available exclusively with the 6’6” box, while crew cabs are available with a 5’8” box or the 6’6” box
