headliner issue.

My youngest son just noticed this today. Driving him to school and he said dad your top carpet is ripped... got out when I droped him at school.. and found this.. took it to the dealer so they can see and getting a new headliner under warranty.. they also said the back window has to be removed... anybody else get similar tears or rips right above the back window?

I haven't looked in my denali, where exactly is it? Hard to tell from the picture, but glad the dealer is taking care of it

Above the back window. You have to be in the back seat and look up and back

Had my headliner replaced due to manufacturing defect and the dealer had to remove the windshield.. The new headliner looks good however I seem to have a lot of scratches in the hood and side pillar due to the removal of the windshield that I just noticed on a sunny day..

That's because the tech didn't put a drop cloth/pad on the hood while he cut out the windshield. The damage to your A pillar was just poor work.
