Adjusting Rear Seat Belt For Kids

I am wondering if there is a GM accessory or an aftermarket clip of some sort that can be added to the back seat belts so that the belt does not dig into the kids' necks. My Silverado had a clip attached to an elastic rope that held the belt down slightly. I am looking for something like this, or anything else that people use that would make the ride a little more comfortable for them.

All the sites I find with the referenced part number say it is for Colorado Canyon only and the picture looks weird.

I have temporarily solved with a 12" loop of grey para-cord through the seat loop and around the seat belt.

I think it does the same thing this accessory does, reduce the angle of the belt.

That is very strange, but that is the part number I received and they look just like the picture from the OM.

Update: so I pulled the order out of my file with my dealers invoice on it. That is the correct part number and description I'd "guide". The label from the package says "Guide Kit / R Seat Shld Belt". And I paid $4.55 each for them. List was $5.92. I never looked for it online. I just went to my dealer parts guy.

Maybe this will help. Here is one othe actual guides. The small clip attaches to the seat via a loop that is on the door side end; the larger flat end fits onto the belt. Tension is adjusted by sliding the elastic cord thru the center push button clamp.

Thanks for the picture. I guess it kinda looks like the drawing in the listing.

Maybe they used a police sketch artist and he had to draw it from someone describing it.

I'm going to order one and see what I get. Wonder why they say Canyon Colorado only? Oh well.

Don't know. Like I said, I just took the number that GM Customer Service person gave me to my dealer parts guy and told him I wanted 2. They were cheap enough not to bother looking online, so I never did. I'll be curious to hear back when you get it...

I'm a little behind the curve here, but I found this thread extremely helpful. I am in need of 2 of these as well and I called the dealer only to find that the part is discontinued and the part number has been replaced by part # 23220788. I can't find much on the new part number so I'm not even sure if it's the same part, and the parts guy at the dealership wasn't too helpful. All he could tell me was that they are $15 each. If anyone here can get their hands on 2 of the items posted here, please let me know.

I have two of them and it was the original part number from the GM parts website. Google the new # and see what happens or just plug the old number in on the parts site and the new replacement number should pop up.
