Level/Lift w/ add-a-leaf

I searched to no avail...

Has anyone done a level/lift using an add-a-leaf?

I'm contemplating getting the RC 2" leveling kit and a Tough Country rear add-a-leaf to lift rear slightly. I don't want to just level as it will look odd when towing, and the add-a-leaf may help with heavy tongue weight. Input is appreciated!

Helwig helper springs are the answer. Won't lift ass end but do a phenomenal job with heavy trailer tongues. Put a set on few weeks ago and have towed 2 or 3 times, make the truck handle a whole hell of a lot better. Got mine for 120 off amazon. Don't have to break the leaf packing apart either

Mine are set to an 1" from the leaf pack. Firmed up the ride but reduced wheel hop a lot. You can get them to where they will let the truck ride like factory and once weight is put on them they will start doing their job

I'll have to get a set of these sometime after I level my truck. Sounds like they would definitely help me out.

I started a very similar thread a few days ago. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/184002-adding-a-leaf/ I have done some research and believe that adding a leaf is a great way to go if you want to raise the rear of your truck while adding some load carrying ability. The helwig helper is great if you want the extra load carrying ability but not the lift.

Check out my thread in the vehicle build forum, I have a sequence of pics of my truck stock, w/ leveling kit, w/ leveling kit and add a leaf, then w/ leveling kit and add a leaf and body lift. Hope it helps.
