im not really liking the cloth or fiber type wheel well liners that came on my truck,i see that some companies like Rugged liner,Husky etc make s the plastic rear wheel well liners for our trucks, has anyone used them? too bad,i checked with Chevy dealer and they dont offer them for the new style trucks. too bad we couldnt get some for the front too, those fiber ones collect all the dirt, sand grass etc, looks crappy.

I just spray the fiber ones with the hose and a light brushing with the was brush and they clean right back up.

They are way quieter then the plastic ones going down the gravel road.

my prev. truck was a 2012 Hd and it had the plastic liners and i never really noticed any more noise from gravel than this new one. these really dont clean up that easy,my boss has a 2014 1500 and we are really clean freaks with the trucks and those fiber liners really hold the dirt. oh well, thanks for the reply.

I had the same impression when I saw the new style liners but after taking the water hose and they spray off clean and black looking, I liked the new style better to. Cold water hose and everything just rinses out. My old plastic liners stained and stayed that way even with my cleaning all the time.

They fit well. Felt similar to a drop in bedliner. I am glad I got them. My truck came without liners

The plastic ones also get scratched and gouged, but then again, I have no apprehensions on were I will take my truck ha ha.

Someone at work asked today me how I manged to get a mud line all the way around the bottom of the truck.

I replied that's how deep the mud was.

Better wash it soon ha ha.

I like the ones that came with my truck. Easy to clean, no scratched, and no stains.

The new OEM liners are quiet, they absorb sound. Thats why the new LTZ versions of these trucks are so quiet.

When the gravel road is dry, I agree. When mine is going thru spring melt or a major rainstorm, these goofy textured OEM liners really capture and hold a wild amount of mud. Quieter, I would agree. I guess to get one thing you have to give up another. I think I would rather have a smooth surface that didn't hold so much mud. And we haven't even gotten to off road yet. Even worse. Good thing I have an extra long hose to wash it out underneath without having to do it on the concrete drive.

With the sand clay mud I deal with its basically impossible to clean mud from this carpet junk. Now that break up is coming I will park the Chev and run the Tundra for work... no "carpet" on it to ruin.

totally agree, i really dont notice these new style being any quieter than my 2012 Hd with the plastic liners. im hoping one of the companies come out with front plastic liners like the rear ones,i havent figured which rear ones im going to use yet though. thanks for the replies.

My 2015 2500 came with both front and rear liners already in place. One of the things that attracted me to it in the first place. Living on gravel roads, liners throughout a must.
