Do you really need the entire Cat back exhaust?

What's the best option for replacing muffler only? I have a 2010 Silverado with 5.3L and I want exhaust, mainly a muffler and a tip. All I want is the throaty tone, I don't want anything loud at all.

I would not recommend getting any exhaust for performance upgrades, there is minimal increase.

Check out the Corsa Touring, I have had it on my past two vehicles and love it.

Muffler only..........You can order the GMPP Muffler, or regular Borla muffler. That would be a good choice and not cost you much money.

Jennabear,

How's the Corsa touring on the highway...is the drone minimal...I'm in the same boat as lrhochgesang, just a little bit of a throaty roll when accelerating is all I'm after, maybe a little louder at idle.

I love mine. My DD is the kiddie hauler, and I don't like too aggressive of a tone. Just enough ummph when I get on it, no drone.
