Alot of people will call it a glorified "level kit". Also say that it will cause bad CV angles, and wear out ball joints. But then again, the kit comes with new UCAs and Diff drop brackets. I've been looking at both, and searching for reviews getting quite a few mixed results of saying its good, while others swear it ruined their truck.

Exactly. The RC 3.5 just has blocks/spacers and a diff drop bracket. The Superlift 3.5in kit also comes with new UCAs so I am wondering if it's better and alleviates the issues.

I really just want to be able to clear something in the 33.5-34 x 11.50 range. The 2.5in level doesn't seem to be able to do that, and all 4in kits are a grand or more.

Found one guy on here that has the Superlift, but he hasn't been active in like 2 or 3 months :(

There are actually two different Rough country 3.5 kits. One comes with out UCAs ($250), while the other one does come with UCAs ($400). Don't have part numbers, but you can see the two different kits by going to their website.

The price you pay is the quality you get.

Going to have to agree with you on this, however OP, those same people who have put that kit down, were probably the same people that told me that my 2.5" RC Level/Lift would wear out my balljoints in a matter of months. My 2014 Silverado had the RC 2.5 kit past 49,000 miles and my balljoints were still fine when I traded it in :) Just sayin'

On my 2011 GMC Sierra CCSB I put the 3.5 inch RC with new UCA's, shocks, and all.. and after 5,000 miles one ball joint went bad. Replaced with MOOG then at 30,000 miles the other went bad. Replaced with MOOG and traded truck in at 36,000 miles. (I purchased the truck new and put lift on with about 750 miles on the truck.) It did look pretty sweet though ad had a good stance.

Buddy has a 10 with the 3.5 inch RC and he had too replace ball joints after 35,000 miles. Granted he put lift on at the 50,000 mile mark then had to replace at 85,000. Also had a terrible time with keeping it aligned as well.

The RC lift comes with the MOOG ball joints pre-installed too.

I am agreeing with you on that. I had a 2010 gmc sierra with a 2" level and it held up fine. But when I went offroading you could tell that if I had a proper suspension lift I would had been way better off.
