BDBWTE says: "Movie good"

BDBWTE says: " Stay after movie for preview of Revolutions the Conclusion of the Matrix Triology"

Okay anyways the move is pretty kick a$$ and I would tell anyone to go see it.  Just thought you should know.

I thought the fight scenes were great, as was the whole freeway chase scene, but the rest of the movie seemed to be lacking for some reason or another.

My opinion:

"It was great, but I still think the first one was better"

I saw it last night.

While some scenes dragged on, i thought the whole movie spread more light onto the whole Matrix trilogy than many will realise.   :thumb:

Yeah, there were definetly a lot of subtle clues in there that you need to piece together.  I've got a theory about what's going to happen in the 3rd movie.  I don't want to give anything away though.

I agree completely.  I think they overdid some of the fight scenes.  There were also several monologues that made the movie kind of drag.

Having said that, I loved the movie.  I would compare it to Star Wars in that each sequel has to support and explain the first one.

I enjoy movies that make you think, most people (probably no one here) do not.  They just want to be entertained and don't want to have to use their brain to understand what is going on...kinda like "IN" The Matrix...

I will probably go see it again just to pick up on what I missed the first time.  I can't wait until the DVD comes out so I can drive my wife crazy with it. (She has to have seen the lobby scene in the first one a hundred times.  It sounds/feels great on my HT).

In my opinion the most obscure scene was when they entered zion (yeah, I'm sure that spelling is way off).  But, they are going in there on the hover ship and they've got this super sophisticated computer system to guide them in (the white room), then they get in there and Morpheus gives this speech to a bunch of barefoot people wearing net shirts in what looks like a giant outdoor rave, then they are all dancing to techno music.  That scene kind of lost me.

Other than that the fight scenes were great, but it was lacking the really cool gun fight scenes like the lobby scene in the first one.  I think that was the ultimate gun fighting scene.

The movie did leave me thinking though about what was really going on behind the scenes.  It seems to me like it's a matrix within a matrix and the inhabitants of Zion are just that 1% that doesn't accept the matrix and they get there own special one.

Just some food for thought.

One of my employees said the new movie was like playing a game with the cheat codes. Now that Neo knows he has all these powers there is no sense of real danger, like in the first one. The fight scenes were pointless because he could have taken off like Superman at any time.

I liked it...but I wish Mr. Smith was in it more. He's my favorite character. I like how at the end of the Matrix he just goes a little mad when he is beating up Morpheus. I can't wait to see him in the next one. Mr. Smith ROCKS! :thumb:

Jon, I agree. The scene made no sence to me. But I also believe matrix in a matrix theory. Some things that point to it. That hi tech flight control with jungle-esqu party. Mr Smith's code being rewritten when Neo 'entered' him. Neo in the 'real' world at the end of the show stopping the attachers (I forgot what the devices are called that blow up the ships, Neberconnezer (sp?)). Neo bringing his girlfriend back to life in the 'real' world. There are more but I don't want to ruin the party for anyone else.

when he stopped the sentinels in the "real world" that just shows the power he has now...

I loved it..    "theres something wrong, I can still feel them coming"

and dayum when he opens up on the smith's even though most of it was cg  good lord that was amazing.

I'll try to make these vague for those of you that haven't seen it yet...

Was the Architect telling the truth or trying to be manipulative?

Are "Our Hero's" in the real world or The Matrix at the end of M2?...(...somethings different???   )

I think Zion is inhabited by 2 classes of people, the "engineers" and the people at the party.  But it does make you wonder.

Why was the Merril Vengian (sp?) created, what was his "purpose"?

...more to come...

If you guys notice during the freeway scene all the cars are GM, I saw one Dodge Ram. Also at the end of the credits there was a short trailer for Matrix Revolutions.

Found a link for Matrix Revolutions. A little bit different from the one in the theater, not much though.

I think that the architect was telling the truth, but the problem is Neo is getting smarter each time around and he made the choice to save the girl instead of the world this time which was different.

As far as having his powers in the "real" world, I think the real world is just a slightly different matrix for those other people who didn't accept the matrix. The architect said that they got 99% of people to accept the matrix so I bet that's where the other 1% are.

All I can say is the trailer for the 3rd one answers some of the questions that your left asking yourself when you get out of the 2nd movie.

Great movie...........

    • Real Truck handles the warranty via GM.  We don't submit a warranty claim with GM, we have to submit it with Real Truck with a specific email/phone number.  Real Truck determines if the issue is covered or not based on the issue and pictures submitted.
    • Some clarification may help with some of these issues.   - Rev Industries is/was the division of BAK (now Realtruck) that makes covers under the OEM names.  So if you see one with a Ford logo on it, or if you are buying the GM Accessories cover, you are essentially buying a BAK G2 cover with different branding.   - Rev Industries now markets under RealTruck "Advantage."   - As of May 1, 2025, the Advantage covers now have a 5 year warranty.  Anything before that was a 36/36K warranty.   - Parts for the covers are available from Realtruck or BAK.  The email address to reach them is [email protected] or you can call them at 818-365-9000   - If the entire cover has to be replaced, you have to go through your local GM dealer.  Service dept opens an RO, notes the damage and submits it as a warranty claim.  Keep your paperwork handy so they can confirm when you purchased it and it's within the warranty timeframe.  Once the warranty claim is approved, Parts orders the replacement cover.  When it arrives at the dealership, service will remove and install the new one for free as labor is included under warranty.   - The Advantage covers are not the latest and greatest Gen 3 covers.  They still use the old school clamps, elevator bolts, etc...If you want the newer technology, consider buying your cover in the aftermarket world.  That way, if you have an issue you can deal directly with the manufacturer.   - Finally, RealTruck has a program with many of their authorized dealers that doubles the warranty to 10 years if the authorized dealer does the install.     Hope this helps.
    • Welcome to the group!  My '22 just crossed 150K miles.  Runs perfectly.  Oil pump belt will be done in the next 30 days or so and onward hopefully for another 150K.  Love the truck.
    • Still looks like a rivet to me in the pics, I don't see a nut and none of the pics show the head of the screw. But if you says so.....
    • Thanks for all the help so far!   I did try right from 2026 right down to 2021, and only from 2023 down lets me select the option for tire psi change, but I get the vehicle not supported error!   I'll definitely try it under Chevrolet after work today, and I'll get the sensor number from gm for my truck tire sensors. And I'll let you know if it works for me under Chevrolet!   And if that doesn't work, I'm going to guess that what @Atlas said about maybe I have a different body control module could be true!
