Center console squeak?

Hello,

 

Ive been hearing a squeak come out of my arm rest in my 2015. Its the jumper seat console but i believe its coming from the latch on the arm rest lid. Is there any way to take that piece a part to look further in to it? anyone else have this issue?

Mine was starting to bother me so while I was armour-aling the inside I decided to rip off a piece and stuff it in the latch, has been good ever since. Not a permanent fix but it does the job.

The best luck I have had with removing squeeks are the adhesive felt pad that you put on the bottom of chairs and such to help them slide acros the floor. They cushion and son't squeek like rubber pads. They are easily trimmable to fit anywhere.
