Just pulled the trigger on a PML Diff cover

Been looking for a cover since Aug of 2014 when I bought my truck new. Nobody seems to have a diff cover for the new 9.76" rear 1/2 ton axle. Except PML. I bought a natural finish version. I also just bought a 5 gal bucket of 75w-90 Syn Triton FE gear lube. It's the only full syn 75/90 I found with no friction modifiers. And after the conversation I had with Eaton's tech department guy, they confirmed the G80 is NOT to have any friction modifiers in the lube. Will screw it up over time. I'm pretty sure Eaton put out that note about running 80/90 gear oil with no LSD additives b/c it's near impossible for a consumer to buy 75/90 Syn gear lube without LSD additives. I checked everywhere locally. No dice. Gave up and bought a $172 5 gallon pail from an online lube house in PA. The Triton FE oil is marketed for semi trucks. Their diffs do not have LSD's and the oil data sheet is very clear it does NOT have LSD additives. Being I have the diffs on my 4wd truck and I'm rebuilding the axles on my '89 GMC Jimmy K5, figure it's cheaper by the 5gal bucket vs buying bottles locally anyway. Figured I'd share the info. I'll do a write up with pics when the cover comes in. PML is back ordered right how until May.

Link to the Data sheet for the gear oil. It's made by Phillips 66.

yeah they have been out of stock for quite a while. The G2Axle covers are supposed to be back in stock about the same time.
