New Recall

Its anybodies guess as how they figure recalls. No recall on the seatbelt, no recall on the tow hitch, maybe they forgot they made my truck..... :dunno:

Agree, they forgot about mine too.

It depends on a number of factors, yours could of been built after the problems were found and doesn't need it. Or you have a different package (in this case towing) that doesn't require the recall. Best bet is to check out your vehicle on GM's Recall website with your VIN. Every time you go in and a recall is done it is recorded on that system so you can make sure you are up to date on everything. Right now I am showing up for the Seatbelt and Tow Hitch recalls.

I work for services now for chev, email came in for the fix looks crude as they have to trim some of the rubber flaps off touching the belt tensioner on the end near the seat adjustment.

They will be adding a bracket, and if yours has signs of wear, it will be replaced

That's why I haven't done anything about this recall. Received the letter last month. I don't want them "hacking" on anything. If it can't be all replaced with new, I don't want them touching it.
