Build status updates?

I ordered a 2016 Ltz Z71 Silverado with a 6.2 exactly 3 weeks ago to today. It's still at 1100. Last week I spoke with gm and they said the only thing holding it back now was the 6.2. Gm chat said they will email me every Monday with the status and they did today. Does the status only update on Mondays or can it update throughout the week?

I don't think it only updates on Monday. But when they offer to email you, they don't want to be doing it all the time. So they pick a day. Usually Monday. That is when I was getting them.

I had a TPW of 3/21. I checked on 3/17 just because. Well it had already been build and was on a truck to the rail yard in Mexico. I later found out that it had been built on the 13th.

But since you are in a situation where you have that holding pattern because of the 6.2 who knows what is going on. Good luck. The waiting is the hardest part!
