16 HD Duramax

Jus got my duramax and loving it. Just had a question to the duramax guys wht is a good tire to run? Looking at the nitto terra grappler G2 but the light truck title on them kind of makes me nervous. If anyone has any input on these or can reccomend a good tire i would appreciate it.

Toyo AT2, BFG KO2 AT or Cooper AT3 if your looking at all terrains.

I just ordered Wrangler duratracs, but Bfg Ko2's where my second choice. Also if you have OEM 20's I'd recommend a 275 65 R20 tire. They will fit with no cranking of the keys and are a 34.1"-34.3" tire that's about 10.8"-11" wide depending on the tire manufacturer. Good set up if you want a close to stock set up with bigger tires.

depends what size wheels he got. the michelins come on 18's 20's come with good years.

 

i had 275 65 20 duratracs just replaced them with ko2's much better road manners. the duratracs are off the hook off road and in the snow though. just couldn't stand the road manners

The Goodyear wrangler duratracs look sweet, but aren't the quietest. I'm debating swapping to Michelin LTX's. Either the M&S or the AT version.

 

Too much on the phone for work while driving to have a whir coming from the tire's. But we'll see. They just look so damn good.

I'm running Nitto Terra Grappler G2s on mine right now. LT305/55r20s. Why does the LT worry you?
