How many guys have ran the 19131347(sport) or 46(touring) muffler with the stock piping? I can't drop the money for a catback for 1k+. There are a few vids of the muffler on a silverado, but I can't find anything on 14+.

I miss the "truck" sound from my 07 with headers and a Magnaflow cat back. I just don't want the drone and not as loud.

Try putting headers on your truck and run the OE exhaust. Sounds great when you get on it and quiet when cruising. Nice rumble under normal acceleration.

I'm not going to drop a grand on headers vs $150 for a muffler. I just want the tone and no drone.

I got the muffler and tip installed but it's super quiet. I have to get the resonator cut out and have a piece of pipe welded in.

I also recently installed a Borla Xr-1 and left the resonator on but took off the flapper and exits in the same location as factory and it is awfully quiet. Sounds good at initial start up but then quiets quickly. Need to cut the resonator out ASAP

So I had the resonator cout out, but it still wasn't loud enough for me. It actually made a whistling noise. I was pissed because it seemed as though I wasted my money. A quick google search and someone had the same issue (replace muffler, cutout resonator and its quiet and whistles). I went to autozone and bought a 2" hose clamp to clamp the flapper valve open. Bingo!!! That was the culprit the whole time. I'm mad that the guys at Borla siad to keep the flapper valve in per their notes. BS! It sounds great now. I haven't taken a video yet, but the sound is perfect. Nice growl on start up, when I get on it, and best of all no drone.

I like the GMPP muffler because its not that aggressive.
