I didn't have any issues with that. It did go a little nuts and had asked me to put the driver window all the way down and then all the way up, but it seems to re-calibrate everything else just fine. Did you just disconnect the negative terminal? If so, for how long? Had mine off for a good 45 minutes because it was hotter than hell and I wasn't in the shade so I had to keep going to get a drink and get the sweat out of my eyes.

Just the negative Terminal and it was probably 45 min. due to the same reasons, 100 degrees out and in the sun! LOL. I have read on here that it happens and that the temp gauge should re calibrate itself in a few hours or so.

BTW, huge sound difference on my ride. I can tell that the truck needs to re-learn some stuff, a couple of studders on take off, etc, but I imagine that it will figure itself out. But when I get on it, it went from really never hearing the engine, to now definitely know that you got on it. it sounds good!

I also replaced the factory filter.

Didn't really have any issues with it needing to relearn anything, but I do hear the growl now. I didn't change the stock air filter because I'm actually not a huge fan of anything other than the normal, paper filters. I had issues with K&N and the like before where it seemed like it was actually robbing the motor of air. There was a big post on here a while back where a guy ran all sorts of tests with different intakes and filters and the Airaid MIT with stock filter was the best. To each their own though, just my personal preference.
