Anyone else really sick right now?

Today i went and had two throat cultures taken, as well as two blood samples taken.

The doc can't decide if its a really bad case of strep, or mono.

I've been feeling like crap with a mild fever, sore throat, chills, and aches for the last week.

I felt that way a little while last week, but then this site got up and running again and my withdrawl symptoms went away.

Alot of people in this neck of the woods have been getting similar symptoms, I've had some but luckily not quite so severe.

For like 2 weeks I have been coughing alot, and a couple days I have felt really bad with a sore throat and stuff but now thats gone. Still got the coughing though. Hope you feel better soon!

Mervz I feel about the same way...I've been sick for about 5 days and it sucks. I think it is also partially allergies for me in addition to not being able to clear my throat and other crap. I'm just sick of feeling sick.

Sorry to hear about that Mervz. I prepared (and ended up eating by myself) more than a quart of strawberries yesterday. Ugh. I kinda feel like that Outback line - "Thunder from down under."

I also have a really painful sore throat. My little brother has the same thing and the doc says it's a viral, not bacterial infection (meaning not Strep Throat). There's no anti-biotics I can take for it, just load up on cold medicine and spray some of that throat stuff from Vicks every once in a while to numb it.

This has been a real bad year for me as far as sicknesses. I have had the cold and sore throat deal 3 time so far and one case of the Norwalk virus. But I have been well for the last 2 months or so.
