May have an Engine oil leak...

I discovered a small leak at the front of the engine about half way up. It appears to be oil but may be coolant. It's covered in dirt so I can't tell yet. I'll take photos asap. Bringing her in to the dealer Saturday AM after I rip everything off it.

 

Anyone else here have any leak issues?

Doesn't really look like a leak since there doesn't appear to be any seal or entry to the water jacket or oil gallery along it's length and no gravity flow or pooling...maybe a drop or two of oil blown against the engine by the fans.

 

Clean it up and check again in about a week to see if it reappears.

My 2014 did that a little oil residue is getting out of the sensor right there. I noticed it and cleaned it and the oil residue re-appeared right at the sensor.

 

I say residue because it took almost to year to get that much out there.

I cleaned that area last night and took it for a little drive and had a very small amount of oil, almost a drop, right near the sensor as you said.

 

I ended up dropping it off at the dealer today with the coolant filter and catch can (no clean side separator). As soon as I popped the hood I explained to them what I had installed and they didn't seem to have any issues. I did, however, remove the tune.

 

I planned on removing everything last night but I wanted to test the waters for the sake of curiosity and for everyone on here.

 

I'll keep everyone updated.

Couldn't tell that it was a sensor from the photo because no wiring is shown. If it is (oil pressure or oil temp) screwed into the oil gallery, some oil may be weeping past the sealant, or there could be an internal crack in the sensor.
