programming my 2015 Silverado HMI module 2.0 to 2.5 with carplay & texting

Were you able to achieve this? I would like to add this to my truck but I heard the price to do that is well over 700. Something I'm not able to do.[emoji17]

Just wanted to share my project for those who might be interested on doing the conversion. Some might think is a waste and some might actually like it. every body has there own taste and gotta respect that. My truck started as a 2015 silverado black sport edition I think that's what's called. It was wrecked and I had to replace front end so why not upgrade while at it. Here is the result.

Yes. I had to change three modules one usb and calibrate them

can you please tell me more about this whole process.the J2534 programming tool is new to me and i did not think you could do this yourself.i thought you had to buy a reprogrammed module from a third party.also if this can be done at home i am surprised the your local GM dealer could not do this for a fee.
