Hood rattle

Ok I have had a rattle coming from the outside. It kind of sounded like it was coming from the mirrors. Well today i tracked it down to being the (cant think of the correct word) hood hinges. Everytime i hit a bump they squeek. Anyone have this problem. Does anyone have any advice on a fix? Probably just need to add some lithium grease

are the hinges loose? ie from wind catching the door and slamming it open?

i am not talking about the door hinges but the hood hinges

if they're not too loose and are just squeaky, try some WD40 -- I hit mine with that once a year.

Definitely go with the litium grease. WD40 evaporates too easily and you are back to where you started from.

Might want to check the hood hinge bolts anyways. I had one almost back out on my '94. Caught it just before I lost the nut.
