Is anyone running an Add A Leaf in the back?

I will be installing b 2-4"front and a 4" rear when I decided to order tires for it I'm ggonna try out some cheap tires it radial adventuros m/t on my 2002 2500hd it will be torsion bar key front and block rear with new shocks all the way around. Giving it and try for the hell of it why not? Lol I'll weld the blocks in with the new u bolts for extra safety glasses honestly think previous owner of my truck put a had a leaf in already not sure feel she sits higher than stock could be mistaken. It's prob stock.

I find it hard to believe a 2" block vs the 1" block that GM puts on the truck will make any difference to the integrity of the rear suspension.

 

A 4" block I could see being a concern. But going from the stock 1" to 2"???

Yea that is! Make sure you get need U bolts. More of safe practice not a necessary thing but i just prefer that to be a new part rather than re-using the old one. I went through a local 4x4 shop and they gave me exact same price as the internet except a little cheaper because i didn't pay shipping! I would check local and see if you can get any discounts!

hey sorry for the absence. Just got the AAL installed last week and installed flares and spacers this week.

Love the look raised me up about 2-3 inches.

Just curious If people have installed the aal without the factory block? I'm hoping someone has info since this is an old thread.
