Only the steering issue here and I'm sure it will be repaired in 1 day since I gave them their TSB  Other than that.....I Love my truck especially when towing.

GM sold 538,000 GM trucks from Jan 16 thru July 16 (HD vs LD ... breakdown not available ... that I could find)

The forums specialize in problems - for the most part

Do you think Ram or Ford has a better product ?

We Don't ...

I don't recall ever replacing wheel bearing in any of my trucks. I know of a Dodge 1500 w/ low mileage (driven by a senior) that has had both front wheel bearings replaced.

I have not had any issues with my 2015 2500 6.0L since day one. I might make a dig at some of the fluff features on it that I wish I didn't have to pay for, or that I wish I could have gotten an LT or LTZ interior with rubber floor covering instead of carpet, which is just about stupid to have in a pickup for rural farm/ranch use. But it has been a rock solid pickup. done everything I asked of it and never complained and I always felt there was even more capability to spare. Wife even likes it better than the previous 1500, and not just for the creature comforts. She feels more confident in this pickup. So, it is one that will be a keeper.

I've always ordered a mid-level trim truck w/ the carpet delete. W/ the way I use my truck, carpet (even w/ floormats) is stupid.

And a cat back exhaust... :lurk:

The 2500 is beautiful in that the stock exhaust piping is excellent, only the trash can muffler needs replacing. I did a Magnaflow 12909 muffler on my 2500 and it is just plain sweet. A great low end throaty sound without being obnoxious. I felt complete cat back would be a waste of money for me. The stock 3.5 in tubing is ideal for the 6.0L.

I always thought the muffler looked like a furnace oil tank. They must be doing something right when it comes to the exhaust systems
