14 trans issue started. Fix

So @ 70k miles I have started with the transmission issues.

 

First time, no forward or reverse. Revved up and slammed into gear.

 

About every other day it shimmys, feels like engaging and disengaging. Hopping back and forth before slamming into gear.

 

Also had to pull over and restart add the truck didn't know to shift up to third. Shift points all over the place.

 

Occasionally awful noise coming from transmission area, description sounds like a dry bearing with a exhaust leak tick, but then will quiet down.

 

Two dealers no help, all they know is to read codes I guess. So if there is no code and it doesn't present itself during a test drive than its good to go?

 

I know there are numerous post about this, but they are daunting and seem to have no resolution.

 

Any help or what someone has done to resolve would be grateful.

Sounds like it is time to trade it in. The good news is if thier own shop is saying nothing wrong with it they should give you top dollar for trade in lol.

 

You are right all the service techs k ow is how to look up codes or procedures in GM system. Heck they told me led strip drl was 100% impossible to add if not equipped from factory on my 2015 ... plainly they were 100% wrong.

30k more miles of warranty left. Just drive it to failure. Be glad you don't have a 2016 doing this at 70k miles.
