Putting 2015 seats in a 2016

I'm thinking about trading my 2015 z71 1500 for a 2016 2600 z71 diesel. I was wondering I could take my seats out of my 15 and put them in the 16. I just got custom leather seats and I'd hate the lose them. Basically just wondering if the seats changed from 15 to 16

The fronts changed if you have heated/cooled seats, but they will probably still bolt up fine. As long as you have the same options on the '16 as the '15.

 

Don't know if a dealer would do this for you though. That's a lot of work.

Yeah it's the same just regular cloth seats no heated seats or anything but I'm close with the dealership so if they bolt then maybe

What has changed in the seats? I drove a 16 the other day with similar options to my 15 and I could tell they were different.

He has custom leather seats in his 15 that he wants to transfer to a 16 if he trades.

They did change in the way the vent option is set up on the 16' seats. other than that they are the same.

The OP is also talking about taking seats from a 1500 series truck and putting them in a 2500 series truck. Do the 1500 and 2500 series even use the same seats?
