I know this is an old thread, but in regards to the lack of apps. I see in the notes of the system that we are using open source software.

 

I had the impression GM did was trying to do what apple did and just create an app store that individuals can create apps.

 

Someone could make a lot of money creating some nice apps. If you created some crazy one that really helped with the media and phone connection, I would imagine nearly everyone would be willing to spend $100+ on it.
