Why did you modify your truck?

Iam just considering getting a Hypertech . Which one did u get ? Max energy 2.0? My gas milage is crap trying to get one to calibrate tires and tune a bit.

Hypertech Max Energy 2.0 part 2000 I am waiting for them to post an update for the 8spd trans you cannot make any 8spd trans setting changes with the current software update. It will allow you to tune for premium or regular / swap tire size / gear ratio / AFM set to only come on at set speed or be turned off / Speed limiter reset / rev limiter etc. for 314 bones I am satisfied with it so far. My main thing was the AFM I have it set to only come on above 50mph. I am itching to adjust the trans settings (hurry up with the update HyperTech) I am thinking that I want to bark a little rubber 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd just like my TransAm back in high school hahaha My gas mileage is down now to around 21 mpg I added a CAI This new CAI and the Borla dual exh make beautiful music together. Really hard to control the right foot!

Thanks for the info. Going to get one in the next week or 2 . I figured instead of just getting a calibrator might as well pay a bit more and get the tuner too. I have a 2014 so no 8 speed tranny for me .
