Pace Edwards Bedlocker (electric) bed cover installed

Electric was definitely not considered necessary but when I was already spending that kind of money for the retractable, I figured why the hell not. Pace Edwards is probably the most low profile cover and glad I went this route. Installation was a breeze and I installed my hidden switch above the gas cap.

Good man for filling up at a good top tier station like SHell

Pretty sweet cover. I personally think that is one of the better looking bed covers out there.

...and what's wrong with Shell?? Should I be boycotting them for some reason?

Any experience with water yet?

I would say it's about 95% waterproof with the exception around the tailgate area. It's tough to seal any bedover right there.

No lockable gas tank? I'd be a little nervous if someone figured out I had a switch in there for my bed cover...especially if it was covering something valuable.

Otherwise, pretty cool idea. How much more for the electric version?

Not sure what you mean about the lockable gas tank... if they find the switch they find the switch. Later I may install a toggle inside the cab to disable the switch if I leave something valuable in the bed.

This was $2k

Lockable fuel door. Extra layer of security for the bed of your truck. No reason to skimp out nowadays.

Would be a shame to lose that $2k tonneau cover. My first truck had it's wheels/tires taken because of no tire locks. Won't happen again.
