MyLink Theme

I've got a 2015 Silverado LT All-Star package with heated leather and remote start.

 

It's got the 8" MyLink and I was wondering why I can't change the theme on it? Does anybody know if there are multiple themes or if they're trim package-specific?

Unless they changed it for '15 you should still be able to chance themes. I have the same trim as you except the leather heated seats and it's a '14 and I have 4 themes. Have you really played around with the settings? Looked in the manual? I can't remember exactly how to get to it. For me it was like any other electronic device for me, I just need to mess with it to learn it.

Yea I've dug around in the settings and haven't had any luck finding anything to this point.

If you go to 7:13 in this video that's what I've got available in the Display settings as well:

I think you go Settings>Display>Theme

 

I see you have Nav which I don't, but that shouldn't matter.

I'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure I don't have a theme option to choose from. I'm wondering if a software update is available that I need.

I don't think it's a software update because I've had the 4 themes since buying the truck in April of '14. Maybe something changed for '15, but I thought the '15s were supposed to have the themes. I'll try to remember to check and see how to get to it tomorrow.

There's nothing on "themes" in this video.

 

I'm in a 16 and mine is the same as well. Themes would be cool.

This. You don't have them since GM removed them for 2015-2107 and there is no way to add them even with a software update.

I wish I could just display the analog clock with out turning the radio off. Best theme IMHO.

I had the airbag recall (SDM) reprogram, and I noticed that the theme on my DIC changed to the same as the 2017's. the original theme with the circular compass around the digital gauges is gone, and now the theme is pretty boring with the gauges straight across. But one plus is the steering now feels a little heavier, and my fuel economy has gotten better by 1 mpg!

GM got rid of the analog clock too.

That's interesting to hear. I had the reprogram done but I have a Silvy so we never had themes to begin with. The Denali guage cluster is supposed to have themes so if the update removes them there will be a lot of pi$$ed off people!
