The remote app that allows you to start your vehicle with a smart phone should allow you to activate the camera and view your truck. If they had the 360 cameras, it would really be neat. The app should let you know if your alarm is sounding.

What gets me is I got a notice to download the GMC app for our Acadia. The Onstar app does the exact same thing, unless I'm missing something here, why would I want a GMC app and a MyChevy App if the Onstar does the same thing?

From what I have read here the Onstar app is supposed to be going away in favor of the GMC/Chevy one. Yes it does the same thing though.

My Onstar app quit working, when I called they changed me over to the MyChevrolet app and had me change my log in to my email address. It's the same as Onstar.

OnStar app will be done in a year iirc. It's only still running to give everyone time to transition to the brand specific apps.
