Has anyone heard of this before? I checked on gmpartsdirect & they go from 25 to 67 bucks US depending on the axle.

 

I know cat' converters have been targeted due to the platinum & palladium they contain.

W/ the price scrap yards are paying for steel today, you'd be lucky to get that for a shopping cart full of diff covers.
